ELA, English Language Arts, will consist of reading fluency and comprehension and lots of writing. 8th graders should be able to produce a well thought out and organized two paged piece of writing by the end of the school year. They should also strive to be fluently reading and comprehending text at grade level or above. We will spend our class time helping students achieve these standards using a variety of various activities, projects, and assignments. Student will be proficient readers, writers, thinkers, and presenters by the end of the school year.
