Google Meet (Smaller Groups)

Hello Parents and Students – Here is the set up of new groups to meet at different times to help with our google meets and hopefully help the students to get a more one on one question/answer time with me. I sure miss you all so much! Remember to watch my prerecorded videos, prior, to the google meet.
Remember we are still in the learning phase with e-learning and I want all of you to do your very best at home. Right now with Math, I have focused on (only reviewing major standards). But starting next week, we will be getting into some NEW material. I need everyone to be prepared with a notebook, paper and pencil, so that they can look back on their notes while doing the assigned lessons. (You can also use it as you do the lesson on iReady)
Thank you so much for all you do and your support during this difficult shift in our schedules and routines,
xoxox,
Mrs. Young

Google Classroom

Dear Parents and Students –
Hopefully as you are getting your chromebooks, we can get our classroom up and running. The Google Classroom will be the most important access your child needs right now. They MUST sign in with their account. I have a few parents who signed in through the parent google account. It needs to be done through the student’s google that has been issued through the school. If your child is unsure of their username and password, all that will be available for you when you come for pick up. As a 5th grade we are trying to keep everything on line and through this google classroom. If you are familiar with technology and know how to join a classroom, the code is: royuhcs

How to video to join my google classroom

STUDENTS will NEED: paper, pencil, or something else to work out math problems.  Other than that, ALL other materials will be online and turned in online. They will have student codes to access all areas. Students are familiar with these and have worked on all the sites I am planning on using. I want to make this as simple as possible. If you have any questions please email me at ayoung@questac.org. I will get back to you as soon as possible.
