Animal Research Homework Next week!

We are starting an exciting science unit all about animals!! This is my favorite unit of the year! The students will be doing an animal research project, then presenting it with a powerpoint presentation.

We will learn all about powerpoint here in class. No need to create the powerpoint at home, I just want the research done at home. Their homework next week (March 24-28) is to find some research on their animal.

THERE WILL BE NO WORD SORT OR MATH HOME FOR THAT WEEK!

I have sent home the 1 page, 2-sided paper they need to fill out. They need to answer the questions in COMPLETE SENTENCES!! Researching their animal is part of this project, therefore, research at home will be worth 20 points, they must complete it and bring it back next Friday March 28!!

The students have already picked their animals, and some have even checked out books from my library. They are to do some research online, and in books. I have a few safe websites the students can go to on my blog. As always, just be aware when and what they are doing on the internet to ensure their safety!

Here are a few websites I recommend: You can find the links to these websites on the right hand side menu of my blog, right under the red analog clock. The students have accessed these sites via my blog already, so they should be able to find it just fine.

Happy researching, have fun with this!!!
