Next Week

We have a lot going on next week! We will be going on our field Trip to This is the Place State Park. I am missing 3 students permission slips so please double check that your students permission slips have been turned in. (I talked to kids who were missing them last week). For the field trip the weather is supposed to be cooler than last week. Please have your student bring a cold sack lunch and sweatshirt in a back pack. No school lunch will be available this day. Also, with the activities we are doing, the kids may get a little messy walking through the dirt so please wear tennis shoes, socks and pants. Kids Must be on time to school as we have to be on the bus leaving by 8:40 in order to make it there on time. Each student will be assigned to a parent volunteer. I really appreciate all of you who are able to come with us! This is an awesome way to get to spend time with your kiddo and get in a big chuck of your volunteer time for the year!

Next, I am ready to start having volunteers in the classroom on a regular basis. If you are available to help (once in a while or on a regular basis) please email me. I do have a couple who signed up at back to school night and I will email you directly.

Finally, most students are doing a nice job of getting homework done and their homework form submitted. Please check your student homework grade to verify if I am getting your student’s homework. Homework scores are up to date as of Saturday morning.

Thanks for all you do to support our kids! We really do have an awesome class!
