Valentine Box Project

Next Friday we are planning a small valentine’s activity. We will do a class activity and the kids are welcome to exchange valentine’s cards. Please design and bring a Valentine’s Box to bring to school that day. We will have it as a competition and I will have a prize for the winner as voted on by special guest judges. The theme is “We Love Technology” for our boxes. Kids are welcome to design their box any way they want but to be in the competition it must fit the theme of “Technology”. Be creative and have fun with it. This is not required. Think along the lines of designing a box as a computer or laptop, there are endless possibilities!

Also, we have 20 students in our class. If you are having your students bring valentines cards remember they need to bring one for everyone, and they can bring “prizes” with the cards but not candy or treats. (Stickers, erasers, pencils, etc. make great prizes)

This will also be the first class store day. I have been collecting things for the kids to buy with their “Pay Checks” but we could always use extras. If you happen to have small prize kind of things around that you are willing to donate I am sure the kids would love more options in the store. Again, this is not a requirement.

I truly am so lucky to have such amazing kids and parents to support our class this year!

It should be a fun day!

P.S. Remember to submit homework tonight! 🙂
