I hope that everyone had a great weekend! Today was a great day and the kids were much more engaged than they were at the end of last week. Please remember that this week is the first week of homework. We are ONLY DOING READING this week for homework. Please have your students read 20 minutes 4 days and report their homework on Friday. For Spelling and Math just click “NA” since we haven’t officially started spelling and math homework.
Next, we had a couple students today who were struggling with sharing or giving things to friends then wanting them back. Also football got a little rough. I have talked with the students and let them now that if I have students complaining about football getting too rough or people giving and taking things from others, then all toys and footballs will have to stay at home. Please discuss this and appropriate ways to handle a situation like this with your kiddos tonight and I will reinforce with them in the morning.
