Good afternoon. I wanted to let parents know that we have been struggling with behavior in the lunchroom. (Being disrespectful to the lunch ladies, not keeping our bodies to ourselves, not following directions the first time asked, asking others for their lunch, etc.) We have practiced this procedure and some of the kids are doing great but I would really appreciate if you would follow up tonight with a discussion at home about appropriate lunchroom behavior. Today we had several students lose last recess because of lunchroom behavior (I HATE taking recess away. I know they need to go out so I have never done that before but nothing else seems to be getting through to them that they need to listen and follow through with what we practice and talk about). Please let me know if you have any questions.
Also on a completely separate note. Thank you for those who have already donated for the field trip! I really appreciate your support to go on this fantastic STEM field trip!
