Spelling Bee & Country Report

First, The last month of school is always the hardest behaviorally. We have learned a lot this year and I don’t want the kids to give up on continuing that progress forward. Remember that Sage Testing is ongoing and we test first thing in the morning so please help them get a good nights sleep and a good breakfast! Thanks for your support in that!

Next, We have an end of year Spelling Bee coming up The word list includes all of the words we have been working on all year. I will attached the list for the kids to study over the next three weeks once I have it available on one sheet (I don’t want you to have to print all 35 pages that I have them on for flash cards) We will have our class spelling bee on Friday May 20th then the winners from our class will go on to a 4th grade spelling bee the last week of school. 

Also, We are working on county reports in class. We have chosen our counties and will be making presentations about the counties of Utah.  We are doing all research and creation of this project in class. I just want you to know what is going on so you can talk to them about what they are learning! Here are the counties the students have chosen:
