We had a fun week last week! We had our Rocks Cycle activity that we got to experiment with pressure and heat to see how rocks are formed and changed. I think the kids enjoyed it and I did too! (Thanks Mr. and Mrs. Lane for coming to my rescue to help with this project!)
We got to smash layers of ingredients together to represent sedimentary rocks!
We then blended different types together through heat and pressure to represent metamorphic rocks!
Finally, we saw how quickly liquid can turn to solid as it cools to represent igneous rocks!
This activity ROCKED!
