Back to School Night and First Day

First, thank you so much for bringing your kids to meet me at Back to School Night! I am very excited for all that we have planned! If you were not able to make it, you did not get a chance to meet Mrs. Hadley. She will be our Support Teacher in the class and she will be a huge help and extra support for your kiddos! She will be with us from 9:00 to 2:00 every day! I am so excited to have that extra support available for our kids!

Next, please remember to subscribe to my blog. You can click the subscribe button at the top right of my blog. Also, on my blog remember to read and sign (electronically) the disclosure statement. You can find it under the Parent Info tab on my blog. Under that same tab is a supply list. The starred items are items that your students will personally be using on a daily basis. The rest is shared supplies that the whole class with be using.  Anything that you are available and willing to donate to our class is greatly appreciated!

Finally, tomorrow is the first day of school! You may drop your students off as early as 8:00 and they will go to the back of the school to the supervised playground to play until 8:25 where I will pick them up. We get out of school at 1:00 tomorrow, Thursday and Friday. Please remember that the parking lot the first couple weeks will take a little extra time but it makes things go much smoother if everyone follows the directions of the staff as outlined in the parent handbook. We will all be out there helping direct traffic and keeping kids safe as new parents are trying to figure it out. We appreciate you letting us educate your kids and know how frustrating the parking lot can be but everyone being patience and kind will help all stay safe.

I am SO EXCITED to be teaching your children this year! Please let me know if there is something that I can do to help support your child. You know them better than anyone so I am sure that our teamwork will help them grow to their full potential!

See you in the morning!
