As a fourth grade we will start implementing a study hall/ Fun Hall during the last 30 min on every Friday. We have talked about this as a class but will talk about it again this week. What it will entail is on Thursday I will give out a list of missing assignments to the students who have them. They then have until Friday morning to turn those assignments in.
Any student who does not have missing assignments will be allowed go to Fun Hall which will be either spent as extra 30 minutes outside playing, or in a designated classroom on computers. The students who have missing assignments will spend those 30 minutes completing the assignments (Study Hall) and then reading when those assignments are done.
We are trying to encourage students to complete their work and submit it on time. By giving the students their missing assignments list on Thursday they will be able to take home any work and complete it by Friday morning so they do not miss out on Fun Hall. Please encourage your students to get their work done on time so they do not miss out on this opportunity.
