We have been working for a few weeks to earn our class party which is an electronics party. They earned it today!!! They may bring an electronic (or other toy) to play with during our class party but there are a few rules.
1. It is their sole responsibility for the care of the electronic. (We will lock the classroom door when we are not in here. Please discuss proper handling of it so they do not break it while playing or transporting it. They are responsible for any damage.)
2. It can not have cellular or internet service. (No Phones)
3. They must follow the same guide lines as set forth in the school electronics policy so they may play on apps but they can not be graphic or use inappropriate content and language.
4. All personal items for the party must stay in backpack until the party.
5. If you do not want them to bring any electronics they may get on a school laptop for their reward time.
It should be a great time!
Next, This afternoon we had a very noise class during math. We have some students who really need the classroom to be quiet during working time in order to be able to concentrate. Please talk to your students about staying focused during class time and keeping their bodies, voice and noises under control to allow others to concentrate. Mrs. Hadley and I are doing our best to keep everyone actively working but today we had several students that got out of hand with their off task noises and chatting. Thank you so much for your support in this! We have an awesome class and we see growth every day! Please let me know if there is something that I can help with that I am not aware of.
Finally, Remember to post homework submissions (reading) tonight on the blog.
