We had a lot of fun today in Kindergarten! We learned about election day. We talked about why we vote and how important it is to vote. We talked a little bit about debating and even had a few debates about what food is our favorite, what pet would be best, and which insect is better. Then we held our very own presidential election.

We were even able to talk about “write in” votes. We had one kindergartener who did not want to vote for either of them, they wanted to vote for George Washington. I thought it was wonderful. Close race!!
