Spring Picture Day on Tuesday

Picture daySpring pictures will be taken on Tuesday, April 16th. Thus, uniforms are not required on this day. Please note that students should still follow dress down day guidelines by wearing appropriate attire. All students, unless you indicated otherwise, will have their picture taken. A picture packet will be sent home later for you to review before you purchase.

Field Trip on Friday April 12th

This is just a reminder that April 12th is our field trip to SeaQuest. Both Classes (morning and afternoon kindergarten classes) meet at school at 8:30am.  The children will be dismissed at 12:00.

ATTENTION VOlunteers: 

Please remember no siblings. You will need to travel on your own to the aquarium and also cover the cost of your own admission or use your season pass. I am sending you out an email with further details. THank you so much!




Upcoming Field Trip to the Aquarium Friday April 12th

We are excited for our next field trip!
We are going to be visiting the SeaQuest Aquarium on Friday April 12th.
All AM and PM Kindergarteners will be meeting in the classroom at 8:30 am and we will be returning to the school at 12:00 pm. 
I do need some parent volunteers. Due to the space, SeaQuest has asked us to limit our parent help to 5 parent volunteers per class. I need 5 parents from AM and 5 parents from PM to help us out. I will be taking the first who email or contact me.

Information for Field Trip:
*Friday April 12th
*AM and PM meet in classroom at 8:30 am. 
*Bus leaves at 8:45 am and will return at 12:00 pm
*Please plan accordingly to have your kindergarteners picked up on time at 12:00 pm.
*Mrs. Hill’s class will be wearing BLUE shirts (Quest uniform please)
*Please make sure your student eats breakfast because there will not be a lunch.
*Please DO NOT send your student with $ money for the gift shop.

Volunteer Hours Opportunity

POQA is offering an additional way to meet your 30 volunteer hours for the school year.

You can donate $5 per volunteer hour needed.  This donation will be used to install stamped cement along the front of the school where the grass struggles to grow.  

POQA is also looking for recommendations for a person who lays cement and a person who can move a tree. Send referral information to Kitty McKissen at poqavp@gmail.com. 

If you are unsure how many hours you have, refer to an email you received the beginning of the month from Help Counter or contact Catherine Sumner at csumner@questac.org  

Please take your cash or check donation to Q1 or Q2 office.  If you need a receipt, let the office ladies know and POQA will gladly write one for you. Thank you for volunteering and helping make Quest the BEST!
