T
hank you for coming to back to school night! It was so fun to have you in our classroom and put some names to faces!

Thank you for bringing supplies and headphones. We will put it all to good use! If you did not bring headphones, please feel free to bring those when you bring your student for kindergarten testing or the first day of school (August 27th). We will start using the headphones in class that first week of school. If you have not yet signed the yearly permission form please scroll down and sign that ASAP or Mrs. Roper can help you when you bring your student in for testing. MAKE SURE YOUR CHILDS VISION SCREENING, IMMUNIZATIONS, AND A COPY OF BIRTH CERTIFICATE is turned into the office if you have not already done so. It is going to be a great year to be a kindergartener!

Also, if you did not make it to back to school night or you would like to view it again, the back to school presentation is below. Thanks so much!

Parking Lot Procedures

Some of the most frequent questions we receive at Back to School night are:
  • “Where do I pick up and drop off my student?”
  • “I’m hearing people talk about stacking lanes. What are they talking about?”
  • “Can I park in a stall and have my student come to me?”
Whether you are new to Quest or a Quest veteran, please take a moment and view this informative AND entertaining video about the parking lot procedures at Quest.

I am so excited for the 2018-2019 school year here at Quest Academy! I am looking forward to getting to know each one of your students. I have so many fun activities planned. Enjoy the remainder of the summer and I look forward to playing, learning, and growing together!!

Please take a moment and subscribe to our blog by clicking on the box to the right “Subscribe”.  It is critical that you subscribe as soon as possible since this will be how I communicate to parents and post homework assignments throughout the year.

IMPORTANT: For the first 4 days of school (Aug, 21, 22, 23, and 24), we will NOT be having regularly scheduled class. Instead, we will be giving each individual student an extensive test to help us better assess where your child is academically. I use this information to customize each child’s education and to challenge them at their current level in reading and math. As soon as possible, please schedule a time that works best for you to bring your student into our classroom for testing by clicking on the link below.

Class Party on Friday May 18th

H
ello All!
There have been a couple questions regarding our party on Friday. We are having an in class party just to celebrate the end of the year. We are NOT having a graduation ceremony. Parents are welcome to join us… just know that this is a party NOT a program. I will call it organized chaos. The students will be getting a graduation party hat and we will be playing games and being silly. They will also bring home an art book that they have worked on all year. If you have any questions please let me know. Also, if you have not filled out the permission slip to allow your student to have the treats please do so by scrolling down the blog to the Grad Party/Pancake Breakfast post.
Thanks so much!
