Free Breakfast

Quest Families,

We are excited to start offering breakfast this upcoming Monday! Breakfast, just like lunch, will be free to ALL students. Please note that these meals will be free until June! Though we originally thought this offer would end in December, this waiver from the government has been extended!

To start, breakfasts will be simple and more of a grab-and-go option provided in the Q1 lunchroom. A sample breakfast might include a muffin, a fruit, and milk. Jr. high students are welcome to enter the Q1 building through the front doors as early as 7:45am. By 8:00am, they should be heading back to Q2. Elementary students may enter Q1 at 8:00am. At 8:20am, elementary students will go outside to meet their teachers.

Please note that half-day kindergartners and e-learner kindergarteners are welcome to take advantage of these meals as well. These parents may contact Madeline Chestnut (mchestnut@questac.org) if they are interested or if they have any questions.Quest Administration

Meet the Monsters

We are excited about the support we are receiving for our school fundraiser. We had several students receive their first monsters on Tuesday. Monsters can be claimed each Tuesday and Thursday morning in front of the Q1 library. We have discovered that the chains are not very durable, so we are asking the kids to put the monsters IN their backpacks. Thank you for your support. Keep up the great work!

This week in kindergarten

Hello everyone!
This week in kindergarten we are working on rhyming words, beginning sounds, ending sounds, and syllables. The sight words are” I & can“. We have done so good with these two words that we have added “the“. We have sang the ABC song in several different ways. We are talking about “Family Times” and “I can do it!”

In Math we are working on counting, recognizing, and writing 0-5.

Keep up the good work and keep reading! I love listening to your stories on Razkids!
