Your child will be given a “Moon Journal” to keep in their blue folders for about a month, so they will be able to observe the moon either during recess or at home and draw an accurate picture of the shape of the moon they saw that day.  We will continue for about a month or so to give the kids a chance to see the moon as it goes through all of its phases (full, three quarter, half, crescent, and new) and also because there will undoubtedly be some cloudy days that prevent us from seeing the moon.  Thanks for all your help and encouragement!  Happy Moon Watching!
