Converting time, liquids, length is no chore.  Just use this song, can’t get it wrong We’ll start with pounds – 2,000 in a ton. Everyone here in this class can teach it.  Everyone knows what to do! Twelve inches a foot; three feet in a yard A mile’s five thousand two eighty feet. Not hard! Sixteen ounces a pound – that’s the answer So now you know-oh-oh, we’re converting masters Eight fluid ounces go in a cup Fluid ounces are different – don’t mess it up! So c-come on, no, we’re not done We’ve got metric still to do in this song Grams or meters, and our liters.  Convert the same: kilo, centi, milli -we’re sure Kilo’s 1,000 of these units 100 in centi-, too.  So whether it’s a liter or a gram we see 1,000 milli-s go in!
