Week of May 20th-24th

How do we only have 8 days of school left??  May has seriously flown by so dang fast, my head is spinning!!!  So many things to get done before the last day!

This week will be full of RISE Math Testing.  Please make sure students are here at school this week on time.  We start first thing Monday morning.

Also, I would love to mention how important it is for all students to be present in school unless they are sick…and not checked out unless it’s very necessary.  We are practicing our play the last hour of the day, and we do it every single day until the performance.  I really appreciate your support with this!

SAGE Math Tests-

**Math Make up testing week of May 28th-30th***

*Presentation of class play on Tuesday, May 28th at 9:00 am in Q1 gym
**Dress Rehearsal on Wednesday, May 22nd at 9:00 am

**Field Day on Wednesday, May 29th—Please look at post from two weeks ago regarding the details.  Also, students need to have the permission slip signed and returned this week in order to take part in the 3rd grade field day extravaganza!  Thanks!

***If you haven’t already, please subscribe to my blog and get the BLOOMZ app and create an account.  The BLOOMZ class code is UEDPZG.  Please make sure you set your account up so you receive notifications.  These are the two main forms of communication, so I’d love all the parents getting all the reminders. Thanks!****

**Tuesday is Library, so the students need to bring their books back on that day.**

Homework:

Math:  Each student will need to get onto www.reflexmath.com and complete their “green light” Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday (4 sessions).  I will teach the students how to login to the app/website.  Just in case they don’t remember, the class username is “waddell3” and all passwords are “rams”.

Reading:  Each student needs to read at least 20 minutes (Monday-Thursday).  Please print off the Reading Log, fill out the form and return on Friday.  The Reading Log can be cut into fourths and used over the next four weeks.  If for some reason, you can’t print it off, please write it on paper instead. 🙂
