Mr. Bokinskie was born and raised in the Ogden area. He attended St. Joseph’s Elementary School and later graduated from St. Joseph’s High School. He was a successful building contractor in Utah for many years. In 2008 he graduated from Weber State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education. He recently earned his Master’s Degree in Elementary Education from Utah State University. He also earned his Level 1 Utah State Elementary Reading Endorsement in 2010.
He is married to his best friend, Jeanna Marie, and is the proud father of eight children. He enjoys spending time with his family, hiking, being outdoors and playing an occasional round of golf. He spent two years teaching in the Ogden City School District. He is extremely excited to be teaching at Quest Academy and is looking forward to the new school year.

The fourth grade presents, “A Night at the Museum”. The details are attached. We will have two “performances”. One performance on February 26th (for students and staff) and the other on February 28th (for parents, grandparents, family members and friends). On the 28th we will perform our “Night at the Museum” in the lunchroom from 5:30-7:00 pm. Come and join us!!

2013ARTS CONTEST INFORMATION
The time has come for Mr. Bokinskie’s fourth grade class to get their Water Cycle poster skills on. I want you to create a Water Cycle Poster that is the Best of the Best. Use a regular sized piece of poster board (white works best) and include all the processes that make up our Earth’s amazing Water Cycle. Be sure to include the following. Use color and word processing to take your poster to “the next step”. Your poster is due on or before February 25th. BEST CLASS EVER!!
o Transpiration
o Percolation
o Evaporation
o Precipitation (all four types)
o Condensation
o Collection
o Explain/demonstrate how each process works.
o Show the two characteristics specific to Utah’s Water Cycle. (give examples)
o Describe how energy from the sun powers the Water Cycle.
o Show lakes, rivers, reservoirs, oceans, trees, and underground water systems.
Hello wonderful parents, I am finally back, for good!! I have recovered and am excited to work with your students as we approach the half way mark of the year. End of term two is January 18th. All missed assignments and any late work your student might have MUST be handed in by Friday the 18th. I will be sending home a list of missed assignments later in the week.
