Mr. Bokinskie was born and raised in the Ogden area. He attended St. Joseph’s Elementary School and later graduated from St. Joseph’s High School. He was a successful building contractor in Utah for many years. In 2008 he graduated from Weber State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education. He recently earned his Master’s Degree in Elementary Education from Utah State University. He also earned his Level 1 Utah State Elementary Reading Endorsement in 2010.
He is married to his best friend, Jeanna Marie, and is the proud father of eight children. He enjoys spending time with his family, hiking, being outdoors and playing an occasional round of golf. He spent two years teaching in the Ogden City School District. He is extremely excited to be teaching at Quest Academy and is looking forward to the new school year.
PARENTS AND STUDENTS…. I just want to remind you of our school schedule for next week. Monday the 19th is a regular day, Tuesday is a short day with school being dismissed at 1:00. QUEST ACADEMY is going “paperless”. Parents will be able to access student report cards through the SIS system. Since Friday, October 26th, is the last day of Term 1, report cards will be available beginning Wednesday, October 31st.
As mentioned at “Back to School Night”, Quest will be using a paperless report card system this school year. Report cards will be accessed by logging into SIS and scrolling down to the bottom of the Student Summary. At the bottom of the Student Summary page parents will find an “Unofficial Report Card” link.
I will have ALL grades entered over the weekend and grades will be locked Sunday evening. The data for paperless report cards will be available and accurate by Wednesday, October 31.
If for some reason you need an “Official Report Card” please stop by the office after October 31, 2012 and the office staff can print out a report card for you.

HELLO PARENTS AND STUDENTS, THIS WILL BE QUICK!! This Friday is the last day of term 1. “Trick and Reading” book reports are due Monday the 29th. Costumes will be worn on the 31st (short day). If we have not met together for PTC, contact me for a time, I would love to discuss your wonderful student’s achievements…. Your students continue to work very hard and are improving their skills everyday. I have attached the parent’s letter for the book report, in case your previous copy was misplaced. HELLO WONDERFUL PARENTS…..Please make every effort to attend Parent Teacher Conferences….your students have been working very hard, their test scores prove this fact….I would love to share this fact with you and celebrate their hard work together…..they are wonderful students….I am so proud of them and I know you will be too…..Conferences are Monday and Tuesday from 3:30 to 8:00, come and I will work you in or you can sign up for an appointment….the list is posted outside our classroom….I want to thank all of you for your support and help this year.
