Mr. Bokinskie was born and raised in the Ogden area. He attended St. Joseph’s Elementary School and later graduated from St. Joseph’s High School. He was a successful building contractor in Utah for many years. In 2008 he graduated from Weber State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education. He recently earned his Master’s Degree in Elementary Education from Utah State University. He also earned his Level 1 Utah State Elementary Reading Endorsement in 2010.
He is married to his best friend, Jeanna Marie, and is the proud father of eight children. He enjoys spending time with his family, hiking, being outdoors and playing an occasional round of golf. He spent two years teaching in the Ogden City School District. He is extremely excited to be teaching at Quest Academy and is looking forward to the new school year.

Our book fair this year will be held during parent/teacher conferences (Oct 15-17). Talk with your student and BE READY TO PURCHASE the book(s) that will encourage and motivate your student to read. Hello again wonderful parents, Your students are amazing. They are working hard and continue to impress and amaze me every day. Tomorrow, the 28th is $1.00 dress down day AND prize box day. I could still use two or three more volunteers to “work” at the store from 11:30-12:30. Also, just as a reminder, the Utah Poster Project is due October 8th and our field trip is October 4th. And finally, Parent Teacher Conferences are October 15 and 16, from 3:30-8:00. The sign up sheet is posted outside our classroom. If you are searching for resources to help your student improve their skills in mathematics while also raising STAR TESTING MATH SCORES…. I have two great sites for you….These sites are a great way to supplement the instruction they are receiving in the classroom. “MATH WORKSHEETS” (all general math subjects) AND “BIG BRAINZ/TIMEZ ATTACK (multiplication game) Look in “Useful Links” to find and access them. These sites are totally “legit”!! Kids love BigBrainz…I honestly play it all the time….Really!!
Hello wonderful students and parents. Our fieldtrip is scheduled for October 4th. I have emailed each parent a “permission slip” which explains the “hows and whats” of the trip…..It’s going to be FUN, FUN, FUN….I will also attach a copy of the “permission slip” under “forms and documents”….Thanks for all your help and support this year….BEST CLASS EVER!!!
I hope so….I know you will do a terrific job, like you always do…You’re the best!!! If I were doing this project, I would “sketch” my project out on a piece of paper, make any changes I need and THEN put all the information and my map on my poster board. Remember, look over your instructions very carefully….I know your posters will be awesome….because….you’re the BEST CLASS EVER!!!
