Mr. Bokinskie was born and raised in the Ogden area. He attended St. Joseph’s Elementary School and later graduated from St. Joseph’s High School. He was a successful building contractor in Utah for many years. In 2008 he graduated from Weber State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education. He recently earned his Master’s Degree in Elementary Education from Utah State University. He also earned his Level 1 Utah State Elementary Reading Endorsement in 2010.
He is married to his best friend, Jeanna Marie, and is the proud father of eight children. He enjoys spending time with his family, hiking, being outdoors and playing an occasional round of golf. He spent two years teaching in the Ogden City School District. He is extremely excited to be teaching at Quest Academy and is looking forward to the new school year.
Keep practicing your addition and subtraction facts. (for fluency)….You must complete 40 problems in four minutes. With practice I know you can do this….I believe in you!!! BEST CLASS EVER!!! Memorize the facts…just like you would do your multiplication tables. Like my friend Yoda always says, “NO try…only DO!!!

Well read on to find out…I was just hanging out with Mr. Tyler Whitesides. Yeah….the author of the Janitors series. I got to meet Mr. Whitesides and Marv….yeah….the hero from Book One. Wow….how much FUN is that? I was able to take some picts, talk with them both and get their autographs. WOW!!! FUN!!! Janitors, Book Two was released Saturday. Yeah….I got one…. BEST CLASS EVER!!!
Have you tried this website for sharpening your multiplication skills yet??? I guarantee you will have a great time playing this game and at the same time….you will be learning your multiplication facts….thereby becoming “fluent” in math facts….Y.S.T.R.and R.!!! Try it….you’ll like it!!
Parents and students….we have nightly HOMEWORK… It is to read a minimum of 20 minutes each night, Monday-Friday and have your planner initialed by an adult….Also, start working on your “This is my Utah” poster project, due October 8th….BEST CLASS EVER!!
CRT test results from last year went home with your student today (if your student attended Quest last year)…ask your student about them….Also, each student needs a set of earbuds or headphones for classroom usage on computer days….Your children are amazing….REALLY!!! Ask them about their day….
