Classroom Behavior
Parents,
Many of you have been asking about how I will handle behavior in the classroom. I will be using Class DoJo, as well as, a clip chart. For those of you who aren’t familiar with Class Dojo, it is an app that allows you to give your students points regarding their behavior in the class, both negative and positive. Every time I update your child’s points, it will send you an email to make you aware of how they are behaving in class.
Rewards will be given every two weeks depending on the number of points your child has. Rewards include things like pencils, erasers, eating lunch with the teacher, sitting in the teacher’s chair, etc. (None of the rewards I give are food or toys).
I have sent you an email request to be added to our classroom. Not only does it track behavior, but it allows me to share classroom photos of the many fun activities we will be doing during class. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me.

Also, you are more then welcome to walk your child to class tomorrow with all their supplies between 8:00-8:25am and take pictures. I just ask that you leave by 8:25am so we can start our school day!
