We are busy, busy, busy in class! Every day is a new letter (check out the perfect letter page for videos!), math concepts (equal to, less than, greater than, and shapes!), and perfection of our center rotation. Please take the time at home to work on handwriting and number/letter recognition. “Practice makes perfect!” is something that is said when the handwriting becomes frustrating.
The classroom now has an open door policy! You are always more than welcome to come by and help anytime that works for you. I LOVE having family in during centers (AM- 8:45-9:45, PM- 12:30-1:30).
Next MONDAY we will begin the Waterford reading program. This state funded program requires us to be in the computer lab 30 minutes each day. It is a phenomenal program that works with your Kinder at his/her reading level! I’m a big fan 🙂 More info here –http://www.waterfordearlylearning.org/
