Mrs. Esson’s Kindergarten Supply List
2013-2014

  • 2 reams of white copy paper
  • 1 primary journal. MEAD makes nice ones which can be found in the office supply section at Wal-Mart. Please look for the lines on the bottom half of the paper to allow room at the top for illustrations.
  • 1 Pocket folder AM Class – Green PM Class – BLUE
  • 1 four-pack of black, fine-tip Expo dry erase markers
  • 1 box of plain pencils
  • Pencil top erasers
  • 1 box of 24 crayons
  • 4 glue sticks
  • 1 large box of Kleenex
  • 2 containers of antibacterial wipes
  • 1 spill proof, plastic water bottle (please label)

Band-Aids, small prizes to go in the prize box, and stickers would be greatly appreciated.

*NOTICE: THE ITEMS ON THIS LIST WILL BE USED DURING THE REGULAR SCHOOL DAY. THEY MAY BE BROUGHT FROM HOME ON A VOLUNTARY BASIS. OTHERWISE, THEY WILL BE PROVIDED BY THE SCHOOL.

Is this list accurate for the 2013-14 school year? My kids are ready to go school shopping! 😉 Thanks! So excited to meet you!

I just laughed so loud reading this list that my husband came from the other room to see what was so funny! The “1 large box of kleenex” cracked me up, only because it is so needed. I’ve never seen that on a school supply list and yet nothing is more important in a class full of little kids come January. Brilliant!!! (by the way, his next comment to me was “I hope they asked for a couple bottles of hand sanitizer too”…)
