Dear Families, 

I know you have heard of the family photos offered at Quest as a fundraiser. (Click here for a reminder) I just wanted to show you a picture of kids in our class playing an educational game on the iPad.  I LOVE this game!! Tens frame Snap. 

This game is one we could all play if we had more iPads to share in the classroom. Quest has 6 they are willing to let a grade use if the grade raises the most money. I know there are many amazing photographers in the area, and if your family has already scheduled family photos, would you please consider donating $25 to Quest to raise money for iPads in the classroom? 

If you have an iPad at home – I would HIGHLY recommend this game!

I have seen many professional teachers use iPads in their classroom and it would be AMAZING if we could win the first six to use in our class. Please take a moment to talk with family and friends about getting photos taken to support our school. The photos are stunning. Examples are on the Quest blog. 

Today was an absolute BLAST!! I loved spending Halloween morning with you all! Please stay safe tonight and Ill see you tomorrow!

Reminder that tomorrow, Thursday, October 31st
ALL Kindergarten students have school from 8:25-10:25 AM!! 

The schedule has been changed tomorrow only so that every student can participate in the school-wide parade! 

Please have students come to school in their costumes.
No gore, masks, or weapons please.

Tomorrow will be SUCH a fun day!!

Our classroom Halloween celebration will be on November 1st.
It will be the first 1.5 hours of the day and will consist of 6 centers. These centers will be fun activities and games.

Thursday’s parade will take up the majority of our time, so we will celebrate a day later. No costumes on Friday, please.

If you are able to volunteer your time on Friday, please post a response here.

Please include if you will be there in the AM or PM and if you can provide an activity.

I have activities also if you would just like to donate your time or if you can provide an activity but cannot come in leave a post below!

* My apologies for not getting all of 1st quarter papers sent home Friday! PLEASE ensure your Kinder brings a folder and backpack on Monday to safely carry everything home. I am also noticing that some Kinders have old work still in their folders. Please go through your child’s backpack often! 

* Kindergarten tutoring begins next week. This is an optional service we provide at Quest. Please email me to let me know if you are planning to send your child so I can be prepared!
