September 30 – October 9 – Conferences for Mrs. Esson’s class. Sign up is on the classroom window. 

October 11 – Kindergarten no school, grades 1-9 Short Day

October 16-18 – Fall Break No School

October 31 – Short Day. 9:00 Halloween parade with costumes! Both Kindergarten classes attend school 8:25-10:20

November 1 – Regular day. No dress down.

November 22 – Dollar Dress Down Short Day

November 25-29 – Thanksgiving break No School

The Walk-a-thon and Fun Run have been moved to next week!
I will keep you up to date as these events get closer!

Clock letters are finished! 

We have now moved on to letters with a straight line. 

Clock letters (lowercase letters only) – c, o, a, g, d, q, s, f, e

Line letters – l, t, k, i

Please remind your Kinder to always start at the top! Many prefer to start at the bottom and move up – please help me to kick them of this habit!

Every time we learn a letter, we also learn how to sign it (sign language) and the letter’s short sound. Ask your Kinder at home to teach you!

Papa Murphey’s and KSL TV Read Today are giving out free pizza to families who read at least 20 minutes a night!

Tickets will be on sale before and after school Mon-Thurs in the K-4 lobby. Tickets must be purchased through the school.
They will not be available at the door that night.
