Our class worked on growing confidence in our classroom this week. Every morning this week, we have recited positive affirmations using our inner voice. Ask your child to repeat our classroom affirmation:

Today is a new day! I will have a great start.

I will listen to the voice inside my heart.

I will let good thoughts inside my mind

and tell myself: I am brave, I am loving, I am kind.

The last two Fun Friday’s that we have had have been a lot of fun for the kids. We have had some success in our S.T.E.M. activities. One thing that we talked about was being able to learn from our mistakes. Some of the students were very disappointed when their project failed. We talked about how it’s ok to fail! Mistakes help us learn and we can work and cooperate with others even when we have different ideas.
