A few parents requested a conference this evening. If for any reason you feel you would like to see me, I have time on Tuesday and Thursday. The other days I have trainings after school. I have put this up on Bloomz for you to sign yourself up. Please sign up for Bloomz if you have not already done so. So far I have two parents signed up. Use the pink paper I gave you this evening to get signed up.
Blog – Feedburner doesn’t appear to be very functional. I am trying to either set up something new, or get what is there to work. Please bear with me as I am having to search for something better. Hopefully if you have already subscribed I do not lose you.
I loved meeting you and your kids tonight and I am excited to get to know them better this year!
If you do not make it to Back to School Night, please go over the disclosures on the blog. It is under the parent information tab. If you make it to Back To School Night you are ready to sign the disclosures!
If you are wondering where to find the supply list it is under the tabs at the top marked “Parent Information.” It is also available here. I will make sure to have some available for you already printed on Back to School Night as well.
I am so excited to meet all my new students for the year. We are going to have the best time together. Friday, August 17 Back to School Night See you then.
We have almost made it to the end. Here are the plans for the rest of the week:
Wednesday (working Wednesday & read-a-thon): We will be cleaning our desks out and bringing stuff home. Please bring a backpack for all the stuff. After we clean, we will have a read-a-thon. Students need to bring a book they love to read or are currently reading. Also, a SMALL blanket may be brought. The blanket will only be able to be used by the student that brings it.
Thursday (Field Day): We are going to have some fun this day. We will be outside. Wear sunblock. I don’t want any lobster-students! Free dress down day!
Friday (yearbook): This is our yearbook signing day. Bring a pen if you want to sign yearbooks. If not, I will provide you with a pencil. Also, free dress down!
We also will be going to see third grade’s plays on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Friday we have some guys who are rock hunters coming to talk to us about rock hunting!
