Week of August 27th – 31st!

Our first week of third grade was AMAZING!! We were busy getting to know each other, learned our classroom procedures, and our daily routines.  We worked hard and starting using our flexible seating options.  Just a reminder to subscribe to the blog and sign up for BLOOMZ if you have not done so yet. 
Here are some other upcoming events this week. 

Monday  8/27: First full day of school, STEM lab starts
Tuesday 8/28: Fundraising Assembly @ 9;00
Wednesday 8/29: School Pictures
Friday 8/31:  Library Day (We had to change our library day this week because of the assembly)
    Early release
    Dollar Dress Down Day! (Students may wear dress down clothes if they bring a dollar.  This is optional and students who choose not to participate will need to wear their school uniforms.)
                     Quest Spirit Night @ Clearfield Aquatic Center 7:30-9:30pm
Monday 9/3: No School! Labor Day!

*This week we will start our reading homework.  I will send home the reading calendar for students to mark off their reading minutes.  Please return the calendar on Friday, the 31st. We will start testing fluency in the next week or two, so please make sure that your child is reading at home!!
*We will start our math fluency homework after Labor Day.
