Comprehension strategy/skill: “Make and confirm predictions”/”Events: Sequence”. We read several different texts to go along with our theme: “Problem Solvers: What can happen when we work together?”
High Frequency Words (Power Words): good, who
Sound, spelling: introduced long /a/ (spelled a_e)

Vocabulary: opinion, decide, grateful, marvel, ragged
Math: Lesson 23: “Compose and Decompose Teen Numbers with Tools and Drawings”
Science: This week we’re learning about the four classic “seasons.” Your child was given a series of drawings and looked for patterns to figure out the seasons’ order. We also discovered which season our birthday occurs in.
