Look for the following letter coming home in your student’s take home folder today. This time of year calls for a little incentivizing! I hope this helps with continued practice at home. Thank you!
We are now beginning Unit 8 in Language Arts. Below are the sight words, oral vocabulary words, letters, and sounds we will be mastering during the next 3 weeks. In addition, we continue to read decodable books and passages. You can encourage us to read the passages we bring home each week. We are also learning to write sentences about the texts we read.
As a class in math, we are making teen numbers. And we will be counting to 100 by 10’s and 1’s. Individually, the students are working to master their current selected math standard in their Nearpod lessons.
In science and STEM, we will be exploring plants and the things they need to survive. We will plant and watch our own little plant grow towards the light.
A favorite thing that comes in two’s are socks! On TWO’s Day, 2-22-22 let’s celebrate the number 2 by wearing two different socks. (This is completely optional)
