Preparing for the iReady Diagnostic

Students and families,
Quest will be administering the iReady Diagnostic to all students soon. The diagnostic will measure your student’s growth in First Grade, tell us what they have learned, and what they need to learn.
  • Watch the blog for information on when your student will take the diagnostic.
  • Students will log into iReady first, then Zoom second.  It is important to log into the programs in this order to ensure the QR code works properly.
  • Please do not work on your diagnostic outside of your assigned time.
  • It is imperative your student attends his/her assigned diagnostic meeting.
  • Please do not assist your student with answers on the diagnostic.
Here is a quick video for students to watch about the diagnostic:

Money Lessons

coinsOur math lesson this week is about money.  1st graders need to be able to identify pennies, nickels, dimes & quarters, and know their comparative values.  It would be very helpful if they are able to look closely at a few of these real coins and use them to count change.  If you are able, please have some handy for them to work with.  If you don’t have real ones, play money will do also!  Thank you!
