Homework will be posted to this blog with instructions. Homework is fairly light in my class. I feel that students work very hard all day, and I try not to put too much on their shoulders for the evenings. However, students must read 20 minutes each evening and there will be Math practice assignments. If I notice something that a student needs help on, I will reach out to parents and send a little extra work home to work on as needed.

*If you do not have internet access, please contact me so that I am aware that your child cannot complete the Google Forms. I will provide him or her with a copy of the weekly homework that will be turned in at the end of each week.
Reading
Read for 20 minutes every night/100 minutes per week. I do not require a reading log in my class.
Students will be completing a book report each quarter, in class, based on a book that they have read. I encourage students to read the book they are planning on using for this assignment. I would like the book to have at least 150 pages (chapter book) and completed before the end of the quarter. Please see the Book Reports link for more information.
Math
Math will be assigned on an individual basis, depending on what your student needs. I have extra resources under the “Student Stuff” link on this blog as well.
Tech
We will have a few technology assignments that will go home and will be explained on the class blog.
