Parents,  The students are super excited about our class play. We will be working super hard to prepare for the big day. I encouraged the students to watch Wizard of Oz (the movie) at home to see what the characters look like, so they can get ideas on creating their own costumes. I was also surprised at how many didn’t know the story of Wizard of Oz so it also would be helpful to watch so they can understand the humor in our play. Please help them start brainstorming what they will wear for the play. Costumes will be needed at school one week before the play for dress rehearsals. The costumes DO NOT need to be elaborate. A simple, homemade costume would be perfect. Please let me know if you have any questions. Thanks in advance for helping with everything! Dress Rehearsal is Monday,  May 17th (8:45-9:45).   Our class will be performing the actual play for parents and students on Tuesday, May 17th in the Q1 Gym from 2:00-3:00 AND Thursday, May 19th at 5 PM. Please mark your calendars.
