We are really working hard to prepare for SAGE testing and getting ready to be 4th graders! It is making me sad to know I won’t be with these amazing kids much longer. They have grown so much these past few months and it’s fun to watch.

Opinion Writing
We are practicing opinion writing in preparation for our upcoming end of year testing.  Please ask your student to present their opinion to you on anything you can think of.  They need to give you a hook, with their reasons and evidence for each reason.

HOMEWORK

Reading
There are nightly homework assignments up in Google Classroom.  Don’t forget that you need to read for 20 minutes every night.  That is the most important part of the homework!
This week for reading, write a summary of the book you are reading about. The summary should be a paragraph with at least 4 7up sentences. (They all know what a 7up sentence is).

Math
Prodigy is set to review everything that we have taught this year.  If you spend 15 minutes every night doing the problems, you will have all concept reviewed by the end of the month.

Spelling
This week, we are studying the ow and oa long o patterns.
