Abravanel Hall – 5th Grade Field Trip

Dear Families,

We’re excited to announce a field trip to the Utah Symphony. This year’s program, “HEY, BRAVI!” features Bravi, a voice‑assistant character who personifies Abravanel Hall and guides students through classical works from composers around the world.

Trip details

  • Date: February 3, 2026
  • Location: Abravanel Hall, 123 W S Temple Street, Salt Lake City, UT 84101
  • Concert: 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM
  • Bus departs school: 8:40 AM (please arrive at school on time)
  • Bus departs venue: 11:20 AM
  • Return to school: 12:30 PM

Costs

  • Parents (if attending): $10
  • Students: $5 donation

Dress

  • Students, please wear their best dress: boys in a dress shirt and slacks, girls in dresses or pants suit. School dress code standards apply.
  • If a student would rather, they may wear their regular Quest uniform.

Expectations & belongings

  • Please ensure your student is wearing a warm jacket/coat.
  • Students may bring a small bag with a water bottle and one small non-electronic item that fits in their backpack to play with. Unfortunately, we cannot be responsible for lost or stolen items.
  • All items must remain on the school bus — Abravanel Hall does not allow us to bring personal items into the venue.
  • Cell phones must stay at school; we will lock them up and keep them safe.

Chaperones & volunteers

  • We need 6 parent volunteers per class. If possible, volunteers should plan to drive separately.
  • If more than 6 parents want to attend, you may enter a drawing to be selected as a chaperone. We will notify winners and share next steps.

Action items (please complete ASAP)

  1. Sign the permission from. Indicate on the form if you would like to be entered in the chaperone drawing.
  2. Pay a $5 student donation (online or in the office). Parents planning to attend should include $10.
