Valentine’s Day
Good evening,
I hope you’re enjoying the Super Bowl! I also hope your students were able to see the string instruments behind Coco Jones — we learned a lot on our last field trip to the orchestra.
Valentine’s Day is just around the corner. On Friday, our class of 27 students will have a Valentine exchange. If your child brings Valentine’s Day cards to share, please leave the “To” line blank and only fill in the “From” line — this makes passing them out much easier.
Students may bring their own collection bag or box. If they don’t bring one from home, I will provide a lunch sack they can decorate and use to collect valentines.
Planned classroom activities:
- Watch a short video
- Enjoy a small snack (sucker and Smarties)
- Make a spring craft
Please complete the form below to give permission for your student to receive valentines. Note: The school will also be selling Valentine Friend‑Grams before school.
