If you haven’t yet had a chance, please sign the Christmas Party permission slip here.

Math Club (tutoring) this week and next week will only be held Wednesday after school until 3:35 pm. If your student has been invited to tutoring and is unable to attend, please let me know and I will be happy to provide resources for home.

Please remember that students should be reading for 20 minutes every night at home! If you would like any resources or support for reading at home, please let me know.

This week in ELA we are focusing on author’s craft and comparing 2 or more texts and how they are structured. We are exploring why different texts are written in different ways. In math, we are learning how to multiply fractions so that we are better prepared to work with measurements in the real world. Students can practice fraction skills by helping in the kitchen. In science we are continuing our study of properties of matter.
