Can you believe it’s already the end of November?!  I can’t!  

Just a couple of reminders:

1-Tomorrow (Friday) is EARLY OUT!!  It is also Dollar Dress Down Day!  So don’t forget your dollars!!

2-There is no school at all next week (as if you could forget that!)  🙂  Enjoy your Thanksgiving Break, be careful, and enjoy the break!

    -There is NO HOMEWORK over vacations…so students do not need to do their Reader Response Journals next week.  🙂

I wasn’t sure if everyone has been able to see the videos that the kids have made for the school on the Quest website or not, so I decided that I would start adding them to our blog as well!  🙂  I have a tab at the top of the page that we will upload all of the videos to. The kids are doing an AMAZING job, and we have gotten some AWESOME feedback from teachers and staff!

If you are unaware: we are creating weekly videos for the school to watch each Monday morning.  The kids are using iMovie and Garage Band to put them together.  They have been working very hard and I can’t even tell you how impressed and proud I am of them all!!  

There has been some confusion on what I am expecting with the Reader Response Journals.  

I have added a “Quick Tips on How to Write Your Journal” paper to the Reader Response Folder in Dropbox.  I will also attach it in the Reader Response Tab on here. 

I hope that helps clear up some confusion!

Just a quick reminder that the Words Their Way homework is meant to be turned in each day, so that I know the kids are working on their words each night. The ABC order should be turned in on Wednesday morning, the Sentences are due on Thursday morning, and the Writing sort is due on Friday morning. They are not all due on Friday. This is not because I’m trying to be a pain or I’m just being mean. The reason is so that I know the kids are working with their patterns/words each night of the week. It has been proven that if the kids work with their words EACH night, they have a better retention of the patterns then if they just do everything once.

Okay, so I’ve been wanting to get this pictures put into a slideshow for weeks!  I just found out today that I’ve had the program (that I’ve been waiting for….) on my computer the whole time!  UGH!!!  So anyway, expect a bunch of videos of pictures of your cute kiddos!!  🙂
