I am still missing two of my “Big Head” /”Who Is…” Biography books that were loaned out for the Wax Museum. If you could please look around your house and see if you have them and bring them in ASAP, I would GREATLY appreciate it!

I told the kiddos that if they want to bring in a white shirt to have signed on Thursday by the class…they are more than welcome to.  Just bring them in on Thursday (we can’t wear them–so wear your uniform) and we will have a time during the day that the kids can have everyone in class sign their shirts.  🙂

First of all, THANK YOU SO MUCH to the parents, grandparents, aunts, etc who all came on the field trip to make our last one a HUGE success!!  I really couldn’t have done it without you!!  Thanks a million!!  I hope everyone had fun!  I know I did!!

Second:  Tomorrow (Wednesday) is FREE DRESS DOWN DAY!!  Q1 won the Penny Wars…so we get a Free Dress Down Day!!

Enjoy your night!  Bring your backpacks tomorrow…we are going to be taking home all of our stuff tomorrow!!

I hope everyone is enjoying their Memorial Day weekend!  

I just wanted to remind everyone that TOMORROW (May 27th) is our Field Trip to Thanksgiving Point!!

Please be at the Roy UTA station NO LATER than 8:30.  Remember to bring a cold lunch to eat, good walking shoes, and water!  It is supposed to be pretty warm tomorrow..and we have about a half mile hike to get to the museum from the train.  🙂

Kiddos still need to wear their school uniforms.  It doesn’t matter what color of shirts…but it does need to be uniform.  

We will be back at the Roy station at 2:47….please be on time to pick up kiddos!  Don’t forget that you need to sign them out with me when you pick them up!  🙂

The Rendezvous was a success!!  It seemed like all the kids had a great time, sold a lot of items, and purchased quite a few fantastic prizes as well!  Thanks to all the parents who helped!  We couldn’t have done it without you!!

Tomorrow is DOLLAR DRESS DOWN DAY, the TALENT SHOW, and OUR CLASS READ A-THON!!  Bring your blankets, pillows, book, and a dollar!!

Don’t forget that Tuesday is our Field Trip.  We will be meeting at the Front Runner Station by 8:30.  Bring a lunch!  

This morning we had Katie from Bear River Migratory Bird Refuge come and do a presentation on bird adaptations!  Here are some fun pictures of our “birds.”  🙂

Friday is a Dollar Dress Down Day.  The money will go towards buying a bullet proof vest for a police dog named Xander.  He came and did a presentation with our kiddos a few months ago.  

Congratulations to McKinlee Wright!!  She won first place in the school for her “Before 1896” Pioneer Essay!!  

Don’t forget that tonight is the Fourth Grade Pizza Party from 5-6!!  Come and have some fun with us!!

Students can bring in poster boards tomorrow (Wednesday) to create signs for their Rendezvous items.  If they don’t bring in a poster board, we will just use some bulletin board paper.  🙂

If you would like to come in to volunteer for the Rendezvous, you are more than welcome.  We will be doing rotations through the fourth grade classrooms all morning (9-12) and then break for recess and lunch.  At 1:00 is when we will need to most volunteer help.  The students will be setting up their Rendezvous items for sale and buying.  🙂  

After we finish with all of our buying and selling, we will come back to the classroom for our big auction!  Kids are allowed to use only the pelts they earn by selling their items for the auction.  I have quite a few prizes to bid on, but if anyone would like to donate any fun items, we’ll take them!!  🙂
