If your student hasn’t mentioned it–you should check out the Science Tab! We did a class activity to learn about soil. I posted a question, and the students needed to read through their resources to find the answers and then post their answers to the blog! It was an amazing activity that allowed students to work as groups, scan through and review information that they have already read, and a fun way (since they made it a race between the groups) to learn about soil! 🙂 We also talked about writing complete sentences and how to restate part of the question in the answer. Fun times in Science!!
(We also did an activity like this to review Main Idea!)
Also, don’t forget to look over the class calendar–it’s really starting to fill up with some very important events. 🙂

#1: Rocks will never be the same as they were on one day.
#2: Plants can only grow in topsoil.
#3: The only way Metamorphic rocks can form is by heat and pressure, and I thought that they could form two ways.
