Reading in Class
- The essential question is: “How do families work together?”
- We will be learning short ‘i’ and long ‘i’ (i_e) for our spelling: did, fin, pick, line, pipe, tip, mix, five, side, hike
- Our Vocabulary words are: customers, tools, jobs, cost, checks, choose, spend, chores
- Math in Class
- We will continue to learn about place value up to 3 digits. Then we will be comparing 3-digit numbers using the symbols: <, = , >
Reading Homework (optional, but highly encouraged!!)
Please, please, please read with your child. Make it enjoyable and fun. You can even read to them!! 20 minutes a day is a great goal.
