I have been married for 4 1/2 years to my very sweet husband Eric. In May 2017 our sweet Ollee Jane was born. She is such a sweet bundle of joy in our family. We enjoy doing lots of activities outdoors such as, rock climbing, snowboarding, camping, and hiking. We have a dog named Lucee. We got Lucee in January 2015 and she has been so much fun. She loves being outside with us. Some of my favorite things include reading, baking, making crafts, watching movies, and spending time with family. I have quite the sweet tooth and love ice cream! My favorite kind is vanilla with Reeses peanut butter cups in it. I also enjoy anything chocolate with caramel or peanut butter.
I also love mystery novels or movies! I love books like Nancy Drew where you can find clues and solve the mystery. I’m very excited to incorporate this idea into my classroom where my students can learn to find clues in reading and math.
I received my degree from Weber State University. I have a double major in Early Childhood and Elementary Education. I love teaching First Grade! Most of my teaching experiences have been in a First Grade classroom. I have a huge philosophy that each child deserves to get what they need in order to be successful. That also means that what each child receives may be different for everyone.
