About Me

Hi! I’m Amanda Alexander, and this will be my seventh year of teaching, and second year at Quest. I am so excited about getting to know each of you and I am looking forward to all of the wonderful experiences I get to share with you all throughout the coming year.

I received my Bachelor’s in Early Childhood Development and Education from Texas Tech University, and I received my Master’s in Educational Leadership from Walden University. I have taught students from Pre-K through 6th grade in Florida and Georgia. Then, I paused my teaching career when my family and I moved to Japan. Though I missed teaching, it was an incredible experience to immerse myself and my young children in the Japanese culture during our time overseas. After our time in Japan was over, we moved to Oklahoma briefly, and then we made it to the beautiful state of Utah.

We are a military family, which explains the moving around. My husband is a Major in the Air Force, and we have been married for 15 years. We have three children who are all attending Quest this year! In our spare time, we love to camp, go hiking, and you are sure to find us on a mountain somewhere skiing anytime there is snow on the ground. All of our family is from Texas, so we take advantage of any break from school to go and visit. I LOVE watching football- college (Go Red Raiders!) and professional (Go Patriots!). As a family, we love to travel and explore. We recently traveled to Spain, Germany, and Morocco. I love to shop, play golf, do yard work, read, and watch movies with my family.

Here is to an incredible year!

Work hard. Be kind.
