3rd Grade – Mrs. Hadley

MAY 8 @ 6:30 Save the Date!

We are having a Utah Program on May 8th. All of the 4th grade students will be singing different Utah songs for you. It is at 6:30 in the Q2 gym. Best dress (like you would wear to a wedding or church) or school uniform please. Along with singing, five students from our room were randomly picked to have speaking parts. These parts need to be memorized. We are excited to entertain you all! Invite everyone you know to come-no limit! All of the 4th grade kids have created something to show you about our beautiful state.  Come earlier enough to walk around and see their creations. 

We are heading out on  a field trip May 2nd! We will be going  to the Museum of Natural Life. Please take a minute and fill out this Permission Form.

Dear parents,

We are planning on doing an art project using Crayola Crayons. If you have old Crayola Crayons that you will more then likely throw out during spring cleaning, will you please send them to school? We are going to be making a Crayola Art project that requires quite a few green, yellow, blue, black, and white crayons. They don’t need to be in perfect condition. You’re welcome to donate only those colors, or send them all and we’ll sort them. We especially need the green ones. Thanks so much!

Staker-Parsons is coming on March 28th to talk with 4th grade about rocks and how rocks are used in the world. Part of this activity involves students “mining” chocolate chip cookies in rocks. The following cookies are used:
Chips Ahoy Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookie
Chips Ahoy Regular Chocolate Chip Cookie
Mother’s Brand Chocolate Chip Cookie

The school is giving a great money saving opportunity for parents to purchase a subscription to Prodigy at a drastically reduced rate. I am not sure what the paid membership gets your child, but I am sure your child knows. No worries if you don’t want a paid membership we will keep using the other membership. This is just optional.
