POQA is having our first open meeting on Tuesday, Sept. 13 @ 4:00pm in the cafeteria!
We wanted to tell you what POQA is and why it is beneficial for you to join the meeting!
POQA is the Parent Organization for Quest Academy, and the purpose is:
- To enhance and assist in the education of all students attending Quest Academy Charter School.
- To arrange activities and special events to supplement the academic program and to enhance the school’s sense of community.
- To serve as a liaison to encourage and facilitate communication between families and the school’s administration, staff and Board of Directors.
- To be a vehicle for fundraising to help meet the previous objectives
Being a part of POQA does not automatically mean you are on the committee, but you are more than welcome to be! Volunteering and helping POQA can be for a few minutes per week/month or just whenever you’re available!
