The Bunnicula novel is due back Sept 1-5. Please send it back as soon as it is done. IT MUST BE RETURN IN THE PLASTIC MESH BAGGIE IT WAS SENT HOME IN. Please include the writing notebook. I will read what they have written for their daily summary on Friday Sept. 8th. Reminder: They read need to read for 20. If they are not on grade level, they have to read with an adult or old sibling/person. Writing in their notebook a brief paragraph about what they read.
All of the assessing has been completed, I will send home a copy of their scores very soon.
September 4-Labor Day-NO SCHOOL
Please mark your calendars for Back to School Night on Monday, August 14th, from 6-8 pm. Presentations will be given every 30 minutes starting at 6:00 pm, with the final session beginning at 7:30 pm.
On this night you can bring your child’s headphones, pencil box, and small water bottle. NOTE: No backpacks are brought to class. Only a lunch box if needed. We are a technology school and seldomly send anything home. As the school year approaches, we wanted to give some quick uniform reminders and updates:
-Quest apparel (with our official logo) purchased this year or in the past (non-team/club hoodies, crewnecks, and quarter zips) can be worn as part of our uniform policy any day of the week. Spirit shirts should be worn only on Fridays.
-Though Crocs have become increasingly popular the last couple of years, they do not meet the criteria of “closed heel” as outlined in our Dress Code Policy under “accessories”. Closed heel shoes are required for safe participation in school activities such as recess and PE.
-Leggings are not considered an appropriate uniform pant.
-All of last year’s Q2 extracurricular club or athletic apparel are to be worn on Friday’s only (Legally Blonde shirts, Cyberpatriots shirts, basketball hoodies, etc.)
-All new 2023-2024 extracurricular club or athletic apparel are allowed to be worn on game days or as assigned by specific coaches or advisors.
