NOTICE: THE ITEMS ON THIS LIST WILL BE USED DURING THE REGULAR SCHOOL DAY. THEY MAY BE BROUGHT FROM HOME ON A VOLUNTARY BASIS, OTHERWISE, THEY WILL BE FURNISHED BY THE SCHOOL.
I know how busy this time of year is and I want to help make it easier. I am giving the parents an option to pay a $25 donation to cover each student’s supplies. This way I can get all needed supplies purchased and labeled before students come back to school and parents have a few less things to buy during a busy time of year.
You can start paying the $25 donation to the office the day school starts. I have already purchased these items for this year. If you would rather purchase them yourselves, they must meet the description I have listed below. It is more efficient for me to have all the supplies the same color and type. For example, if I ask for ELA notebooks out, I can see instantly who is off task. After school, I can go into their yellow folder and find the paper I am looking for. I don’t want to look in all of their unicorn/puppy folders until I figure out which one has science in it. I hope this makes since.
Each student will still need to bring:
Headphones-labeled and in a baggie
Pencil Box–1 standard size pencil box, must be able to hold 3-4 pencils, one box of colored pencils, one glue sticks, 2-3 pens, 1-2 highlighters, etc.
Backpacks are only needed if they are bringing a lunch from home or on Friday’s to take the weekly handout home.
Lanyards are optional, I will provide them with a shirt clip.
I have already purchased the following items:
***Due to COVID, Back-To-School will be digit this year. My Back-To-School powerpoint will be coming soon.***
I am very excited to welcome my new students into my class!
Students will be able to login and use their i-Ready lessons all summer! Please encourage your kiddo(s) to play a few minutes a day, this will help them be ready for next year!
Hello, Quest Families!
Here is the email:
Hello, Quest Families!
POQA (our parent organization) is sponsoring Quest’s Teacher Appreciation Parade this upcoming Monday, May 4th, at 1:30pm. We’d love to have you drive through our parking lot to say hello! Your teachers might even be tossing students a few treats through your car window as you drive by!
In order to maintain social distancing standards, our educators will be spaced along the school—elementary teachers will be along the curb in the front of Q1, and jr. high teachers will be along the carpool lane in the back of the school. If you have students in both the elementary and the jr. high, feel free to make two trips around.
If you are able to make it, we ask that students with last names beginning with letters A to M come between 1:30pm and 2:00pm, while those with last names beginning with letters N to Z come between 2:00pm and 2:30pm.
To ensure social distancing standards are followed, please don’t exit your vehicles. Do, however, feel free to honk, cheer, and tell your teacher how much you appreciate them.
Teacher Appreciation Week is a great opportunity to show how grateful we are for Quest Educators.
If you can’t make it Monday, please find a creative, virtual way to show your gratitude for Quest teachers.
Thanks for all you do! Quest Administration
